Primary 1 Lesson 27

n lesson 27, we will start on a new topic – Numbers to 100. We will concentrate on the following key areas:

Translating Numbers into Words
Addressing Common Spelling Mistakes.
Grasping the concept of Place Values.
Mastering the Addition of Two-Digit Numbers with Regrouping

We will provide a supplementary worksheet to reinforce learning. This worksheet is designed to give our students extra practice in the crucial skill of adding two-digit numbers while understanding the concept of regrouping.

Primary 2 Lesson 27

This week, we will focus on revising previously taught topics and concepts to reinforce students’ understanding and skills.

Key Areas of Revision:

Operations Skills: Strengthening skills in multiplication and division through targeted practice.
Problem Sums: Concentrating on solving problem sums that involve multiplication and division to apply these operations in various contexts.

Our aim is to ensure that students are confident and proficient in these essential mathematical operations.

Primary 3 Lesson 27

In Lesson 27, we will continue to revise with the students previously taught topics and concepts with a focus on problem-solving skills is these areas:

Whole numbers, multiplication and divisions
Comparison by units
Grouping
Fractions with changing denominator
Before, change, after

Primary 4 Lesson 27

In lesson 27, we will concentrate on heuristic problem sums, particularly on the following aspects:

Problem Sums Involving Both Quantity and Value: We will revisit problem sums that necessitate consideration of quantity and value. A primary topic within this category is Money.
Whole Numbers: We will focus on higher-order problem sums that involve “Before, Change and After“ scenarios.
Remainder Theory: We will test the students’ proficiency in using fractions and models to solve problem sums that involve the concept of remaining value.
Number Pattern: We will concentrate on one of the most commonly tested patterns – the one with common differences or intervals.

Primary 5 Lesson 27

This week, we will continue ti revise previously taught topics and concepts to reinforce students’ understanding and skills.

Key Areas of Revision:

Area of triangles.
Rates.
Factors and multiples.
Fractions
Decimals
Part and whole
Remainder Theory

Our aim is to ensure that students are confident and proficient in these essential mathematical operations.

Primary 6 Lesson 27

We would like to emphasise the importance of our upcoming series of lessons, starting with Lesson 27, which are specifically designed to prepare students for the PSLE. These lessons have been carefully curated to cover all necessary topics, concepts, and methods that may appear in the exam.

The PSLE is a crucial milestone in your child’s academic journey and can be quite challenging. Therefore, this series aims to systematically revise and reinforce the knowledge and skills needed for success.

Please encourage your child to complete the Additional Practice homework, as it is an essential part of this specially designed syllabus and will further enhance their readiness for the PSLE.
